World Students' Games
pasaulinės studentų žaidynės statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Kompleksinės įvairių pasaulio šalių studentų sporto varžybos. Pirmosios įvyko 1910 m. Romoje (Italija). Platesnį tarptautinį mastą pasaulinės studentų žaidynės įgavo 1947 m., kai buvo įkurta Tarptautinė studentų sąjunga, o pasaulinį mastą – 1949 m., kai buvo įkurta Tarptautinė akademinio sporto federacija. Nuo 1947 m. vyko žiemos ir vasaros pasaulinės studentų žaidynės. Nuo 1959 m. rengiamos pasaulinės vasaros, nuo 1960 m. – žiemos universiados. atitikmenys: angl. World Students' Games vok.
